LIBERTYTURNED COMPONENTS
ADVANCED BALLISTICS / LIBERTY TURNED COMPONENTS
Custom bullet and projectile design, testing, and production—with manufacturing in mind from the start.
We like to push the envelope on performance while maintaining an economical cost structure and a clear path to scalable production.
Discuss your program ↗Our previous work spans AP, monolithic copper and brass, hollow-point projectiles, and testing surrogate rounds for large government programs. Each program brings its own requirements for documentation, quality, cost, and production readiness.
Previous experience supporting armor-piercing projectile programs and their manufacturing requirements.
Experience with solid copper and brass projectile programs, from development work through production planning.
Custom hollow-point projectile work with attention to repeatable manufacturing and program-specific quality requirements.
Experience with testing surrogate rounds for large government programs, supporting defined evaluation and documentation needs.
Performance, manufacturability, and economics belong in the same conversation. We carry those priorities through each stage of a program.
Start with the application, customer objectives, evaluation requirements, anticipated volumes, schedule, and target cost. Establish the scope and documentation needs before development begins.
Develop custom bullet and projectile concepts alongside a review of manufacturing feasibility, material sourcing, inspection needs, and downstream processing. Consider the full production route early.
Produce development lots and support testing against agreed program criteria. Review results with the customer, capture feedback, and manage revisions through a documented development process.
Evaluate equipment options, tooling, secondary operations, finishing partners, and inspection plans together. Align the proposed production line with the program’s maturity, volume, and commercial requirements.
Move toward repeatable production with controlled revisions, lot traceability, inspection records, and a clear release process. Plan capacity and supply continuity as demand grows.
A production plan should fit the program today and leave room for tomorrow. We evaluate flexible machining routes and dedicated production arrangements against the complete cost of delivery.
A route to consider for custom work, development lots, and evolving requirements. Production planning accounts for setup, change control, and the transition between revisions.
For suitable programs and sustained volumes, we assess multi-spindle manufacturing options and dedicated tooling against capacity, consistency, and unit-cost objectives.
Bring machining, deburring, finishing, outside processing, inspection, and packaging into one production plan, with clear responsibilities at each handoff.
Material and finishing decisions affect sourcing, lead time, quality, and cost. We review these requirements as part of the overall program and coordinate specialist processing with qualified partners as needed.
Alongside our copper and brass experience, we evaluate specialty and exotic materials against customer specifications, availability, manufacturing feasibility, and production economics.
Review specified plating requirements, supplier capabilities, inspection documentation, and lead times as part of the planned production route.
Coordinate specified heat-treatment services with process partners, incorporating certification requirements, lot control, and scheduling into the program.
Account for specified coatings and surface finishes, including preparation, outside processing, and final acceptance requirements, before production release.
PERFORMANCE AMBITION. PRODUCTION DISCIPLINE.
We look at material utilization, tooling, cycle time, secondary operations, inspection, and finishing as one cost structure. The goal is a capable product supported by a practical, repeatable manufacturing plan.
From a first development lot to a growing production program, our focus stays the same: ambitious performance goals, economical manufacturing, and a scalable path forward.
